    This one was inspired by a song, Lemon Tree by Fools Garden. The song pretty much summed up how I was feeling at the time. For reference, it was my own lemon tree out the back, and it was nice painting out side for a change too.

Artist bio

Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, I have always been creative, drawing, and making dungeons and dragons out of old tissue boxes and plasticine since I was a child. I attended Central TAFE where I received my Certificate of Art and Design. I also studied Graphic Design, then transferred to Film and Television, where I learned about photography and multimedia. I learned a lot, but I felt something was missing.
I lived in Broome for a while before I returned to Perth and settled in Armadale. I began to experiment with acrylic painting, which was something I did in college but never pursued and my time in Broome inspired my love of landscapes. I fell in love with acrylics and my artworks began to pile up. Having met up with some of the local artists, I joined the ASA where I continue to paint, learn and experiment. I sold my first painting at an exhibition in Armadale, called "Staircase to the Moon", a natural phenomenon, occuring when a full moon rises over the exposed tidal flats of Roebuck Bay. My time in the local Pop-Up Shop has allowed me to sell and share my work with members of the public. I also found great joy, during my employment as a support worker, to teach and share art with members of the local community.
