Artist bio

After spending several years doing folk art, I realised I had wanted to create some of my own original work. I joined ASA in 2010 and started classes with Dot Marshall. Since then I haven’t looked back. I mainly paint with acrylics but also love experimenting with mixed media.

I enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects including Australiana, birds, animals, impressionistic, quirky and abstract. I try not to take things too seriously and go with the flow.

I love being involved with the Society. I was Vice President in 2014-2015 and President in 2016-2017. I love seeing the society evolve and develop into a vibrant place where like minded people enjoy each other’s company while producing some amazing artwork.

I have won a few art awards which I have been very humbled by. I love entering exhibitions and am always so excited and appreciative if someone wishes to purchase one of my paintings.

I am also involved in a few other art groups including Wild Women of Art and Art and Sol.
