Textiles/ Mixed Media.

Living in the Armadale District for many years, I have attended various workshops and courses over time to advance my knowledge and skills.

Originally being a hand embroiderer, I like to use a variety of mediums in my work, using hand dyed silks, organzas and cottons and also hemp.

I also like using Walnut Inks and paints in my mixed media pieces. In addition I like to use Merino Wool in my creations as well.

My love of textiles and mixed media is shown in all my work and I especially like nature and landscapes.

It is an honour to have won many awards for my artwrok and I have recently been involved in designing and stitching artwork to be displayed on the walkway at the Station Plaza in Kelmscott for the Metronet rail project.
