As a child, growing up in the UK, I loved to draw and this has continued on into my adult life. I have studied art through high school and evening classes as I grew older. I moved to Perth in 1990 and soon moved to Leinster for just under year, whilst there I did an outreach art program ran by Kalgoorlie College. Once I returned to Perth, I studied design at Curtin University, until I was diagnosed with a chronic illness, I was also kept busy raising a large combined family of 9 children who have now all left home and have families of their own.

So now, 20 years on, I am enjoying dusting of the pencils and also branching out and challenging myself to new styles, subjects and media in my art journey.

I am a huge animal lover and find I am drawn to painting them. I also enjoy portraiture and have recently been combining new styles to see where it takes me.

My children are all saying “I didn’t know you could do that”, Nor did I!!!!
