https://www.armadalesocietyofartists.com.au:443/our-artists/linda-glover<p>I have always had a love of art and moving to the beautiful Perth hills has given me the opportunity to pursue my passion for art.&nbsp; Being self-taught, I have learnt much from various artists from all over Australia, workshops and books, which always inspire.</p> <p>There is always something to learn with art and I like to use different mediums in my artwork from oils to charcoal.&nbsp;&nbsp; I like the variety and qualities that each medium brings.&nbsp; Probably I paint more landscapes/seascapes but also portraits/pets and wildlife.&nbsp; Trying to capture the way light affects a subject is always fascinating to me.&nbsp; I have won a number of art prizes and was a finalist in the Jackson UK Pastel competition in 2017.</p> <p>I now teach at the Greendale Centre and the Art House on Hobbs and pass on what I have learnt over the years and hopefully enthuse budding artists.</p>
