I love watercolours but also get great satisfaction from working with most other media. I paint various subjects with nature providing most of my inspiration and also enjoy developing my own techniques in abstract and semi abstract work.

I am a founder and participating member of Armadale Society of Artists, a member of the Watercolour Society of WA, a member of Atwell Art Society, Canning Art Group, Gooseberry Hill Arts & Crafts and The Hills Artisans. Most of my awards have been watercolour and mixed media.

In my mixed media paintings I have explored the technique of using inks and rice paper, adding different textures to the paintings, and placing them out in the sun for a while. After adding further layers and techniques to the paintings, has resulted in the vibrancy and effect I am seeking to achieve.
