I joined ASA and started classes in 2010 to further my studies and pursue my passion for painting. Since then I haven’t looked back. I mainly paint with acrylics but also love experimenting with mixed media and dabbling a little with watercolours. I enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects including Australiana, birds, animals, impressionistic, quirky and abstract. I try not to take things too seriously and express myself where my mood takes me. I love being involved with the Society. After becoming a member, I became Vice President in 2014-2015 and President in 2016-2017. I love seeing the society evolve and develop into a vibrant place where like minded people enjoy each other’s company while producing some amazing artwork. I have won a few art awards which I have been very humbled by. I love entering exhibitions and displaying my work in various businesses and galleries. I have my own Studio in Byford where I paint most days and have my own gallery displaying my work.  I also do regular workshops which are always popular and gives me great pleasure in teaching upcoming budding artists.
