Inspiration to paint comes at all ages, for my-self it was much later in life. I am originally from Sydney, Australia and did not start painting until I retired from my working career in Sales and Marketing. Once retired it was the best decision my husband and myself made in escaping from City to Country Life.

I was initially a self-taught Artist and right from the start I was hooked on Oils as a medium. I love the richness of colour and the flexibility on the canvas. I paint from my “Little Studio in the Garden” in Roleystone WA. My subjects have been varied over the years my first love is Landscapes and Seascapes. Over the past few year’s I have enjoyed painting Australian Fauna and Flora and discovered the joy of painting on location which I feel has brought a new vibrancy to my landscapes and seascapes.

I have been a member of the Armadale Society of Artists (ASA) for the past 10 years and have been in Committee roles and since 2018 have held the position of ASA President. I am delighted to be showing my Artwork on this Website. You are welcome to contact me if you are interested in buying any of my paintings or wish to visit my studio in Roleystone, Perth by appointment.
