Artist bio

“I am self taught and only recently started painting after hurting myself at work, finding it relieved stress and gave me solace.

In April 2018 I attended an Encaustic workshop. This excited me .... I loved the smell of beeswax, the challenge of creating my own colours using dry pigments.  

At the end of 2018 I met David Giles and put some art in his High Street Gallery.

In 2019 I decided to attend David’s abstract painting class.  This broadened my knowledge and I found he gave me the courage to be myself and not try and conform and to enjoy what I created. I think my style is post impressionist but I just paint what I “feel”.

My art is inspired by this beautiful diverse country we call home and from my travels”.
